Featherboards, on a granite top. When the slot mounted type is too close to the width I am trying to cut. Perhaps there is an option I have not thought of? I am stumped!

Drill holes and use 2 or 3 metal pins to secure. You can also make a base with an adjustable featherboard on top.

HF has a featherboard that uses 2 countersunk machine screws through slots with a knobs on top that expands against the sides of the miter slot. I have had good results with them - and they are cheap!
