I have a small 2 man cabinet shop looking to add a cnc router. I was thinking to add a 5x10 CNC Routerparts pro machine with the nema 34 pnp package and the 2.2kw pnp spindle package ($14,000) and see where it takes me. If it grows and I need more then go for a same size camaster panther($28,000) or shopbot alpha ($26,000).

Anyone have any experience with the CNC routerparts stuff? Right now I'm looking at 5-10 sheets of plywood a week, but would like to get to 20 a week if business takes off. I'm hoping the cnc routerparts machine would take me to that point and then upgrade from there if business was there.

I've read reviews about CNC Router Parts and they get pretty good reviews, but I don't actually know anyone who has one...I do know some that have Shopbot and Camaster machines, and they like them...both are used in commercial shops, and as far as I know neither has had any real issues with either one.

I have a CNC Routerparts 4896 Pro System. I would recommend them. The only thing that I don’t have on my system is at ATC (automatic tool changer spindle). Other than that, what I have is reasonably similiar to a Camaster or Shopbot system. Both are very good systems.
