I could not think of any "time" come backs, but the clock looks great. I'm working on a mission mantel clock right now......I'm hoping to have the time to finish it.:rotflm:

loml keeps asking me WHY I save every little scrap of wood-
all I have to do is show her some pieces like this
(and tell her I'm planning on sending them to some talented people)

I like it especially because it appears the only purchased parts were the clock work and hands. I love the dowels.

well.... I am not sure. I thought it was oak when I dug it out but it looks more like soft maple or sycamore. so I guess it's time for a mystery!:rotflm:

That's a nice clock Fred,l I see you must have cleaned the shop... I'm glad to see you use some of the elm I stashed in your shop a few years ago. Have you looked under the north wall bench yet?
