Since the new website has the capability, I am going to post my most recent project! I built a cigar humidor from African Padauk and Spanish Cedar. It was a project full of firsts for me and I don't think I did half bad, if I do say so myself.

BTW, we need to work harder to bring you over to the hand tool side.

Cuts down the screaming noise of a router and the choking dust and vibration of sanders.

The best way to describe the “snik snik” of a plane or using a paring chisel is that it’s very relaxing and therapeutic!

I use hand tools all the time, although, I have yet to tune my hand planes. My chisels and hand saws see their fair share of work on a regular basis, I am just bad about posting my work. I haven't learned to hand cut dovetails yet but it is something I definitely want to learn.

Very nice work! It is much larger than I thought from seeing the in progress photos then seeing the new owner holding it. It look huge.

Beautiful finish too.
