Had some trees come down on our property in Harnett County. Wondering if there are any local mills or individuals interested in harvesting them. Tried Google and phone book without much luck. Thanks in advance. Robert

It's probably Eastern Red Cedar and not Cedar of Lebanon. How many trees do you have down and how large are they (diameter and length)? Pictures would help a lot to answer your questions.

I'm not onsite, and waiting for pics and dimensions. The family story is the Cedars were a gift and are not Eastern Red.

Ok. A little more of that family history and the background around it would help. I hate to be a skeptic but the C of L is really rare in the US. I can't find small trees or seedlings for planting and I can't find that species at the major Botanical Gardens in NC. You may have a few very rare ones.
