Im amazed you would spend $2k for software as a newbie.

You can get Vcarve Desktop for $350 and Vcarve Pro for $700. The $2000 is for Aspire.

Vcarve Pro is $600. Aspire is the highest level of the software version and that's $2000. The biggest benefit with that would be the ability to create / modify 3d carvings.

I wish I had a use case purpose to justify spending the money on it but I don't at this time.

I got lucky and guy I bought my CNC from had 2 copies so he threw a copy in when I bought CNC.

Most software companies dont allow you to do that, technically..... you buy a license and you cant sell it or even give it away.

Vectric allows transfer of license for $50 fee
