I have made a few bottle stoppers for gifts. With the thank you's I usually hear you should sell them. For those of you that make and sell bottle stoppers, how much do you sell them for?

Is there a rule of thumb to figure out what the asking price should be.

Jeff, I have made and sold a few and I base the price on what material I am using - I have sold some @ $15.00 up to $35.00 - Some other here have sold some as well and I am sure they will chime in soon

I've been offered too much and let them go for too little
Always a tough topic. You have to make ut worth your trouble yet be able to move them.
There are so many variables - my lowest price to break even was around $12. And that one actually was one of my favorites I've made.
Less than that and I'm paying them to take one.

I am also in the minimum $15 camp . Typically I charge $20 for a nice piece of wood but more like $30+ for spalted, highly figured or unique shapes . I always use Ruth's stoppers
