bottle stop hardware

I'm living in Boone for the summer, but bounce around between Greenville and Wilmington as well. I'm interested in turning some bottle stops, but don't know where to get the stopper part. any suggestions close by?

Not sure if you have a WoodCraft close by, but the one in Virginia Beach carries the metal, silicone and cork stopper parts. I'm pretty sure they have mandrels too - if you need them.

I turned some for Christmas presents last year and used the drilled cork on a 1/4" dowel - worked very well.

I have also purchased bottle stoppers from arizona silhouette http://www.arizonasilhouette.com/ out of the Pheonix area. It's not nearby but he has good prices a good variety and ships USPS priority mail when possible. Priority mail only takes about 2-3 days to deliver. they also have a lot of pics for inspiration.
