With such high automation and globally the environmental laws are not as diverse, it makes a lot of sense. A friend worked for a hard disk company who outsourced from Colorado to China. Within a year they brought it back as they needed control over the pipeline.

I retired from that Bosch location in 2019. The business cycle for this location has gone full circle; this was a Power Tools Accessory manufacturing plant, it transitioned to being a sandpaper finishing plant and now it is adding back in doing PT Accessories again.
