Birthday Present!

I made this for my mother in law for her birthday.

It did not turn out Great but not terrible either!

Cherry Burl,with Walnut top and Purple Heart finial.

The pics sure do not do it justice.

I'm a bit of a perfectionist. I always see things I can improve on!

I really need to improve on hiding the mounting locations. A better chuck would help solve that situation.

I also need to improve on getting the overall thickness, thinner and more consistent. On this bowl, I left the bottom thicker than I would have liked to.
I was a little to cautious because there are more than a few bottomless bowls already laying on the shop floor. :BangHead:

I'm improving slowly.
