At the very least, a Wolverine setup with a Vari-grind jig. To save a little money, you could practice with whatever wheels come on the new grinder. The CBC wheels can always come later. People I know that have the various models of the Rikon seem just as happy as those that own the Jet grinders.

Tonika, It sounds like Gene (Dee2) has more up to date insights on the Wolverine and the various parts you can add.

If you’re turning, you’ll want one of the Vari-grind jigs. Back in the day, I think there was only one style. Looks like now there’s a choice.

I also went for (and like) the jig to sharpen skews.
