Hello - I have some old tobacco barn beams (vary in length from 6' to 9' to 18'), some pine poles (18') and barn boards from a barn dismantle in Apex. The beams are charred on one side from a fire that happened inside the tobacco barn. Some are hard pine, a couple are oak and I think a few are chestnut. Many boards and dimensional stock in varying lengths, widths and sizes. Beams range in width of about 4.5" to 7".
I plan to use some of the beams for a building project and need the charred side cut off and the beams squared. Wonder if anyone is looking for wood like posted above and if they might have tools and time to square off some beams in exchange for some wood - or purchase outright. Just throwing this out there to see what type of interest there might be. Wood is located in Apex near intersection of routes 55/64. Tks.
