Baileigh woodworking machinery

Hey does anyone have experience with Baileigh woodworking machinery? I have a line on a used ij-883p-hh. IJ-883P-HH - Long Bed Parallelogram Jointer with Spiral Cutter Head | Baileigh Industrial

No experience but a couple of quick GIS show their customer service leaves a bit to be desired. Also some posts show that if you buy the HH model (helical heads) at least in the past you had to replace the bladed heads with those HH ones yourself after delivery.

I own their 15 inch planer with helical head. It's a well built machine and I have had no problems with it (yet). I bought it used after seeing good reviews.

I'm curious how that exact jointer is, too. I'm back and forth with Baileigh, Laguna JX|8 sheartec, PM. Never really heard about Baileigh, but know they are the same company as PM and Jet.

I ended up with a grizzly g0858. First one arrived damaged, but grizzly went above and beyond to get things right. It'll do until I have a bigger shop and can get a 12"

If I may ask... How come you went with grizzly over Baileigh, or the other manfs.?

Literally just cost. I needed a jointer and didn't have enough to go with a different maker. The baileigh I was looking at was second hand.
