Here's a guy I've known and admired for 35 years. His work is in a league of its own. Allan has his school in Maine these days and spends the majority of his time teaching. At present, I can think of no 18th century carver I admire more than Allan. There are others I greatly respect but Allan does it sooo efficiently and cleanly its just astounding.

Allan like Mack is a Cartouche recipient recognized by SAPFM- the Society of American Period Furniture Makers. I might add- we have a recipient here in NC Ben Hobbs. This an elite group of craftsman who have dedicated most of their lives to working wood at the highest level.
