A New Home is Needed

Since I upgraded my Dewalt DW735 and Powermatic Model 54A planer and jointer to Shelix heads, I have the original heads to both machines and they need a new home. Free to anyone that wants them. All that I ask is $20.00 contribution to NCWW site for each. They are heavy so they will need to be picked up in Burlington or a pony express run.

Thanks,
Lecil Alexander

Hey Lecil quick question, do you feel like the upgrade to a shelix head on the dewalt is worth money or do you think adding a little more to it and getting a 15 inch or bigger heavy duty planer is the way to go?

If I had the space, money and the 220 volt electricity, I would go with the 15 inch planer that would have the helical head.
I do like the Shelix head on both machines, worth the money and time spent on them.

If the attached pic is the same planer. I can use them both.
I would be happy to pickup in Burlington (needs to be a weekend).
Luckily, I am still working and need to be in the office every afternoon.

Is it a $20 contribution to the raffle or just NCWW?

Thanks

I have attached a picture of the name plate on my jointer.
The $20.00 contribution is for each head and just to the NCWW website.

Not sure If the 54 and 54A parts are exchangable.
But, I can still use the Dewalt DW735 part.

Works for me. Are they both still available?
Is there a good time/date for this weekend to pickup? How big are they?
Gas might be cheap right now, but I would rather not drive the 13MPG truck.
