I did manage to get a little shop time in between all the massive amount of yard work and cleanup this weekend, Plus having to go help FIL plant some cabbage and taters, but used that as excuse to take a swing by The Hardwood Store and go through their shorts bin. Here's what came out, the left one is Mahogany the right is Rosewood.
Stoppers seam to be a good way to learn, plus if you mess up you don't have much to throw out. I kinda like that part.:gar-La;
