Looking fo a 6" bench top jointer due to space issues. Preference will be spiral carbide inserts for cutting oak and cast iron table/fence for durability. Checking the internet gives me many reviews but seems most of the sites have their own agenda. Does anyone have first hand experience with this type of jointer, thanks to all.

Delta made some 6" jointers back in the day that had pretty short tables. You could find one of them and put it on your bench. Pretty sure you could retro-fit a spiral head on it.

I Bought the cutech Bench top jointer. I needed a small one since I am tight of space.

Jointers

I picked the 8" with the rotary cutters. Much better than my old one. It has the same issue all bench tops have the table is not that big so, I made a rig for it so I could make an extended flat table to make jointing longer boards.

Nice little unit. Worth looking at.
