4/4 FAS or select walnut

does anyone have the inside track on walnut. Steamed or low sapwood. I need 100bf and 50bf of select or #1 poplar. I live in very western north carolina and am trying to keep the drive short with the cost of gas

I don't know about Beetree but some members recently checked them out. Gennett in Asheville carries the walnut in FAS. Their pricing isn't too bad on the hardwoods but their sheetgoods pricing is very high. I recently had a problem with them overcalculating board feet by 33% but they did correct it when I pointed it out. I have been back because I needed a small amount of wood in a hurry and they were most convenient. They were much improved in terms of service and the board feet were accurate this time around.
