The NCWW Outreach program preseason wrapped up on saturday at Bill Clemmon's shop in Liberty. We now have eighteen qualified instructors and assistants. Our season opens with the first class next saturday at Fort Bragg. We will have a full house. We will be teaching six Wounded Warriors and each will have a caregiver, plus our Wounded Warrior Program director will attend.
The folks at the Fort Bragg wood shop did a great job getting approval from all the required government agencies and not only is this first class approved, we have approval for all future classes.
The Wounded Warrior Program folks have provided the marketing and student(warrior) signup and is willing to help us with program cost.
NCWW is providing instructors/helpers, all the tools and the material
Our A-Team for this first class will be:
FredP and Sawduster on the lathes
KenofCary and BobbyG on the bandsaw and drill press
Bill Clemmons and myself helping where needed
Thanks everybody
