A couple of weeks ago I was able to attend this year's TAW symposium. I hadn't planned to go but dearly beloved wanted to visit the grandchildren who are about 10 miles from the symposium site. Of course, I did a little visiting with them myself.
I attended sessions by John Beaver, Rebecca DeGroot, and Stuart Batty. Still lots to learn about turning. And, I learned things that I will tune to some of the projects I've been thinking about.
This year the symposium issued a newsletter with photos of works submitted by attendees. Here's the link: TAW 2023 Woodturning Symposium Special Edition
Some of the vendors may have raffle donations coming our way. Watch for the raffle posting coming soon.
Which reminds me, the picnic is not far away!!!
