Anyone have a toy box plan

Hi Woodworking Veterans, I'm interested in building a toy box for my soon to be born daughter. I'd like to prepare something in walnut as that is what most of her furniture is. Does anyone out there have any good plans for a rookie? I'm happy to take any suggestions people may have as well...

    Teething toy

Here is the teething toy I made. Nothing extravagant, roughed out with a jig saw then just kept sanding it down. It is made of cherry and was scraps given to my by tarhead so a big thanks to him.

The last three trees that I've cut up have been in the range of 38" to 50" dia. Using the 61 with a 20" bar has worked me and it way to much. This new...

    Pink toy box

Normally the idea of painting over good wood is like fingernails on a blackboard to me. And when the paint is pink, that's just adding insult-to-injury. But when my granddaughter said, "Dada, I want a pink toy box", I had to do it. So here it is. Since it will be decorated with "Princess"...

Since I have limited woodworking knowledge and skill, I was wondering if anyone has built one or knows of any online plans. I saw a picture of one in the Rockler catalog that I like but there are no plans for...

    Lego toy box

I made this small Lego box for my nephew for his birthday, final measurements were about 13 X 7 or so. I made it out of some scrap 3/4 pine and plywood. Lego logo was done in birch and sapele veneer. Only thing I would have done differently was to use the birch veneer on the side and back panels...

    Toy Chest

I just finished this cypress toy chest for my Granddaughters christmas present. The finish is amber shelac topped with poly. I bought a set of hinges from Rockler that won't let the lid slam shut. They are not very attractive but maybe they'll save some little fingers and when she's older I can...
