Custom Knife Blocks--Part 4--Lots of Slots

The fronts of each block consists of 5 pieces of 3/4”stock cut to precisely the same size and all cut at a 9 degree angle on each end. Each of these sections have different slots for different size blades so a set of templates were made to use for consistency and to speed up the process...

Where to get Miter Slots...

Well, I achieved a great victory today. I changed the blade on the Ryobi BT3000, and used a better/shorter extension chord, plugged it into its own outlet and it cuts like a champ!!! :eusa_danc:eusa_danc:eusa_danc So, to the next step. I'm not a big fan of the tables that are currently on...

TS Jig for cutting spline slots.
