G1033Z 20" Planers ( got for $600 ).

Bought this 15 year old planer used in December and it is in great shape. Took a bit of setup but really nice planer. Maybe put a Byrd head in it in the future. To help quiet it down. When the dust extraction hits those blades this thing sound like a a jet engine.

planer issue

I have a fairly new planer (bench top Ridgid) and all of a sudden part of the wood isn't coming out smooth. I think a staple may have gone through. How do I fix this? This is my first planer.

Commercial planer near Swansboro

Hi again, Does anyone know of a shop with a commercial planer in the Swansboro area? We would like to speed up our planing of some heart pine. If we do not find a commercial planer, we will just replace our blades a few times. Sherry
