Mahogany Sideboard

All solid mahogany (drawer parts are poplar). Door panels are sappelle veneer over mahogany. All mortise and tenon joinery, handcut dovetails on drawers.

Sapele vs Hounduras mahogany? Which to use?

I'm going to make a big bookcase (12 sheets of mahogany plywood) and need to make the faceframes and two sides out of solid material. If I could find (which I can't) 10' long mahogany plywood I could make the sides out of that though. The folks over at Raleigh hardwoods laughed (in a nice way)...

The Earthen Urn

Made from beautiful heartwood from a very large poplar tree. Its 10" tall and holds up to 29 cubic inches.
