Decided to try intarsia

The dolphins must be the popular intarsia starter project. Thanks to Fred for helping me saw down some thin stock :notworthy. This was the really thin stuff. 1/4" Bubinga and maple. It seems the real challenge with intarsia is the glue down and sizing the backing board.

First Attempt At Intarsia!

So I know I promised Pirate ships But I had to put that project aside due to frustration! :BangHead: But I figured this was a good time to try something new!!! So here is my First attempt at Intarsia its not quite finished need to add a few more details with the wood burner & put some Danish oil...
