formica

Sheets of Formica and/or Plastic Laminate in the Triangle Area

Does anyone know of a cheap spot to get horizontal grade laminate (1/16" thick) in or around the triangle? The BORG has it for $55 (a little on the high side for my taste) a full sheet and I really don't need whole sheets (4' x 8'), partial sheets of at 30" in one dimension would probably work...

Formica help

I don't normally dabble in kitchen cabinet materials however a client brought me a table leaf that has formica on the top. yuk... The formica has came loose at least half the distance of the leaf. I would like to get it all the way off so I can clean the two surfaces prior to regluing it but...

I have been looking long and hard for a plain white sheet of Formica. (Need about 1/2 a sheet - 4x4.) The only place I have found it is at Lowes for about $47.00 - 4' x 8' sheet. Is there anyone out here that can offer any suggestions for looking elsewhere? The only alternative I have...
