Federal Card Table -- Finished Pictures

I finally finished the Federal-style card table I've been working on for some time. This has been a fascinating journey. Learned a lot of new skills and made/acquired several new tools along the way. I've posted a couple of times when it was still a work in progress. Here is the finished table.

Federal Style Desk for my grandson - finally done!

:):)Desk made for my grandson. Used local walnut for the exposed and structural parts. Baltic birch plywood for the top and all the panels for stability, and veneered with walnut and maple burl. All the inlay work was done with knives and gouges (except for the inlay bandings which were made...
