Folding Assembly Table AW #127 Feb/Mar-07, pg 16

I saw a plan for this table in a recent mag ( American WoodWorker Issue #127 Feb/Mar-07, pg 16) and thought it would be a good addition to a small shop. On casters and folds for easy storage. The only thing left to do is make a top for it. I'm thinking of banded MDF with a hardboard skin. Dan C.

    High/low Assembly Table

When I took a chair class at Woodguy's, John showed me an elevating assembly table he had built; very cool. I thought about doing the samebut never got around to it. While surfing Ebay, I found a lift table, and with the mere stroke of a key, I bought it at what I justified to myself as a great...

Stacked Dada Blade - Assembly Tips

Hi All - Anyone got tips/suggestions on how they assemble their stacked dado blade on their table saw? I was cutting some 3/4" dado's this weekend and seems like it took forever to get all the cutters (4 of 'em) on, alligned and ready to go. Is is critical that all cutters are 90 degrees apart...

    Assembly Table

Hi: I am setting up my new shop and have begun to think about an assembly table. I would prefer to have one that adjusts in height. Any ideas along these lines would be much appreciated. Thanks.

    Assembly Progress

I thought I would get the Gearbox attached to the main shaft today but it wasn't to be! Getting the housing and gears to fit onto the shaft has been anything but pleasant. The tolerances are pretty tight and a keyway that is blind has caused me to have to take it on and off several times. A...

    Assembly table is done!!! w/*PICS*

This weekend I finished the oak edging (with box joint corners) and legs with 3 coats of wipe-on poly. The laminate came yesterday, a day early, so I laminated the top. I glued the leg tenons in the sockets which made the table even more stable. I spent some time tweeking the ratchet arms. I...

    Assembly question

I am gluing together a four piece runner and rail for a cabinet I am making. I have a 1/2 inch dado cut in the front and rear and a 1/2 inch tongue to go into the dado. I have made a jig with four wooden courners for the frame to fit snuggly into while the glue dries. Because the wood I am...

    Assembly Table W/*PICS*

My first big post with pictures:-D I am just about done with an assembly table for my shop. It's not motorized like DavidF's table but the height is adjustable using a leg assembly idea I borrowed from a colonial candle stand. The table is 4' X 7' X 4" thick. It uses a beam box (torsion box)...

    9) assembly table

This is an old dining room table that is sturdy and perfectly flat. I have two leaves I can add, if needed. This pic was taken before I added drop down wheels (per an NYW episode). If your looking ahead to the SCMS, you´ll note you don´t see the little cove in the wall that now...
