I found this on Sawmill Creek but thought it worth posting, since I've not been hearing much good news lately:

No relation to me, just a heads up, a nice collection of woodworking books for free, this morning on Raleigh Craigslist. In Apex. Looks like Taunton Press material, good stuff. In Free section right now. I'm not willing to drive right now.
I'm Larry from Raleigh and now that I'm retired, I have a little more time to go foruming (is that a word?). I have been butchering wood for over 30 years but it's taken that long to get a decent collection of hardware in a decent shop -- but I now know that kind of project never has an ending...
Just now there is an old Desmond woodworking vice for a very reasonable price on Raleigh CL 'Tools for Sale'. This vice would be well worth restoring to a trophy condition.
Good luck.
Raleigh CL free items is showing a solid looking wood workbench 7 ft long. From pics it looks well made for general workbench, though not a jointers bench. If I had room for this I would grab it. Just off Norwood Rd in N. Raleigh. Bet it doesn't last long.
