This is a retirement chest design that I created about 10 years ago. I\'ve probably made 40 of them. The shadow box is removable, as is the flag case. This one is lined with cedar. All of them are personalized and the lid is engraved with name, rank, etc.. The wood is oak with aspen strips. The hardware comes in gold or silver brass and leather handles. I enjoy making these for retirees and for Marines/Sailors who are transferring.
