My neighbor is looking for 5/4 x 6" x 6ft red oak to make thresholds. Where near Raleigh can he find it? Thanks.

Well a few places to check (phone first?) are

Scott Smith - on NCWW as SCsmith I believe - correction it's scsmith42. Look for a recent thread entitled 'QSRO clearance' or reduction or something like that
Klingspor's Woodworking Shop in Cary (MacGregor?) - open till 5 on Sat I believe
Capitol City Lumber - open Sat's till 2 I believe
