    Before you close the motor backup (depending on motor type) check for dust and shavings in the govenor and start switch area. Dust in this area can cause high current draw and damage the start circuit windings.

    Steve,
    I shouldn’t have to open it up as the cap connects to two wires protruding from the side of the motor. So all I need to do is connect the wires place cap back in cover and secure cover to motor. I already blew out all the dust I could using my compressor.
    Just waiting for the cap to arrive.
