Hello from Apex - New member
Hello, folks. I was able to join the Shop Crawl this past Saturday, Aug 4th as a guest of Robert B.
I first would like to say that the day was very interesting to see how others have set up their shops and get some ideas to "steal" for continuing to set up my own. I suspect, I am like most folks having limited space and the uncontrollable desire to have every tool known to man kind.
A little about me:
Age 53 and getting older every day. Thankfully.
I was a Ski Patroller, now retired, for just over 27 years, Hence the my user id. NSPS7939 (National Ski Patrol System + my national appointment number).
The Nick name Q comes from having too many Dave's on the Patrol and since I was in charge on the hill, we needed a way to know others were calling me and not one of the other Daves. It worked, and stuck.
I am work I would call a novice wood worker. I mainly build projects that my wife see's or needs, special purpose furniture, home remodeling that sort of stuff.
I am looking forward to learning more and getting involved over time. My first goal is to gain inspiration to get my shop in order and some project ideas from this group.

Glad you found us. One of the more important thing that you should know about the site is how to upload pictures. We love pictures. These can be picture sof your shop, tools, works in progress (WIP), finished projects, wood, etc.
Also, we have a New Member Chat every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month at 8:00 pm. This is a good time to discover some of the benefits of joining NCWW, meet more experienced members who share some of your same interests, and ask questions. We try to have some more experienced members join us as well to help answer questions. The next chat session is coming up this Thursday. I hope you can join us.

Thanks, Steve. I will up load a few of my projects over the next week or so. Right now, I wish I could say I have something in progress, but as Robert B can attest my shop(garage) has been in disarray for some time
