Class announcement: Skill sets of the victorian turners, lidded spice jars

CLASS ANNOUNCEMENT: SKILL SETS OF THE VICTORIAN TURNERS, LIDDED SPICE JARS

A different take on the skills necessary to make functional turned treen (excluding bowls). This is a remix of our successful Victorian Perfume Bottle Holder Class, and will introduce the same skills: hollow body work, solid body work, turning with one end running free, push on lids, screw top lids, finials, and captured rings.

A two day class: make as many as you can. All materials and tools provided in fee.

    See here for more info.

You must have some turning skills!

If you are interested, please pop me a note. As before, this is on a first-come basis. We can schedule this on an ad hoc basis, although come October or so, we are going to have to set the schedules in advance.

(These pics are just sample stuff that was sitting around. We will put the prototypes and videos together soon.)

    Scott,

On the homepage of my website, I put a plug for the NCWW demos in October. Does it look okay to you?
