Log Splitter Recall
Although these are not commonly used for fine woodworking

Yeah, that would be bad. I had a rental splitter (bigger than that one) break on me because someone had replaced the Grade 8 bolt with a hardware store one.
No job is worth doing unless you can get a new tool out of it.
