I have 2 - 35 gallon fiber barrels. There is a lid for one and I can't locate the lid for the other.

I have a 55 gal plastic drum you can have but there is no top. easy to make a lid if you are thinking separator. this is an industrial drom spelled thick heavy duty.
ak-choo-lee I have a separator lid too but I have to check to see if it will fit the drum. its free too!

In case you get a steel drum without removable top, I have a barrel opener (think GIANT can opener.)

Go to a gas station where they have a car wash. The soap comes in those fiber barrels. They will probably give you one...

There is a feed store here that has about 50 30-gallon plastic feed barrels with banded latch tops for $15 a piece. I bought two today for horse and dog food.
