    Hitachi C10FL 10" Table Saw

Not sure if this is how I should use this but... I recently found a Hitachi C10FL Table saw for Sale for $300, I know the guy who owns it and it's been used I think maybe 6 times... Is that a good deal?

The price is right, but offer $250. It would make a good introductory saw.

Yeah its a buddy and this will set me up to buy some more tools pretty cheap... so I'll let him get away with $300 on this....

So it's a good deal? worth it? or could I find a better saw used for $300...

Nick, general rule of thumb is you try to get used equipement for 50% new. At $300 you are paying a little more then 50% but it is in the ball park. Since it is a buddy and you know it is in really like new condition, I would say you can't go wrong.

    That's a good idea... maybe I'll offer him $250...

For $300 is there a better saw I could find used ?

You might stumble on a better deal but that is maybe. You can't go wrong with this saw at $250 or even $300. The one draw back buying used tools is you normally do not know how well they were used/abused. Buying one you know the history on is always a plus.

If it helps, there was a lightly used one on CL about a month or two ago for $250. So you seem to be in the ballpark.
