Harbor Freight Plate Joiner
Well I did it again! I'm not a big fan of bisquits as a rule, but for holding the ends of large picture frames while glueing they're hard to beat. Recently, I built a frame that was so big it was hard to hold on the router table to cut the slots and I made one really long! Then I saw a plate joiner at HF for, you guessed it...$39.95. Lunch cost that much, so what the heck; let's try it. If all you want to do is cut slots, this machine will do it. Adjustments are clunky on the plastic fence, but they stayed in place and made the cuts!

Re: Harbor Freight Plate Joiner
Congrats on the acquisition. No need to go top dollar when it isn't something that you are going to use heavily IMO.
