Humidor plans
I am thinking about making a small humidor. Does anyone know where I can get plans or pictures that I can get some ideas of what I want mine to look like? Thanks

Re: Humidor plans
Mel, if you're familiar w/ Google SketchUp, here's their 3D Warehouse. There are 18 plans for humidors that you can download.
BillI'll gladly tell you how I do something. Just please don't confuse that with the right way to do it, and almost certainly not the only way..gif)

Re: Humidor plans
Any reasonably tight closing box will work. You want to line it with Spanish Cedar which is easily available from specialty woodworking places.
Back when I was more into cigars, I turned the entire center section of my credenza into a humidor. No job is worth doing unless you can get a new tool out of it.

Re: Humidor plans
You can also get empty Spanish Cedar cigar boxes and shipping crates at JR Cigars for not much money.
