New old woodworker in Burlington NC

Hello,
My name is John, I moved to Burlington in July, 2023, from western Pennsylvania after retiring and selling my house and shop. I'm mostly a hand-tool guy, with an old Craftsman table saw, a 6 inch benchtop jointer and an 11 inch planer for stock prep. Right now, I'm spending most of my time planning to remodel, getting gardens planted, and, oh yeah, setting up shop. I have some furniture projects in mind but I also want to try my hand at building acoustic guitars.

Thanks for the welcome. I haven't visited yet, but it's on the to-do list. I need some 8/4 ash or maple for vise faces for my bench.
