Exclamation

I just have to get this off my chest. Sorry. Every once in a while, I post a poll or ask for feedback on some issue. When I do this, I really mean it and always need it.

Take polls , for instance, in the last 2 weeks, I posted 2 polls, that were important to the transisition to Vbulletin and the new gallery. As usual the same 2 or 3 people responded. which out of 60 something users and 10 or 11 very active users is not enough of a sample to really make a decision. So I made the decsion either based on 2 replies or on my own. Guess what, both decisions were wrong and have caused the photo gallery transistion more problems than was probably necessary. Does that mean it was your fault, no of course not. I made the decsions and the fault lies with me. But, more feedback, might have made me see the issues better. So please, please, :notworth: , if I post a poll make an effort to respond, even if it is to say that don't care or know

I sometimes raise an issue in a thread and ask for feedback, please give me some feedback, even if it is nothing more than you don't care. Today I posted a new "mission" statement. The statement is important to help me grow the membership. But as you have probably noticed I'm a lousy writer. My posts are either too short to get my point across or so long, like this one, that nobody wants to read them. So I can use all the help, I can get in tuning that statement. But this goes for all feedback that I request.

Finally one other point, I always want open and public feedback about the site. Some of you give it to me, but usually only when a problem has arisen and then usually in a private message. I have a whole forum dedicated to the discusion of the site, its feature and problems. This is the place to post first. Let's let everyone know what the bugs, setup problems, suggestion, etc. are. I promise 2 things, the overall response and the solutions will always be better that way and just in case you are worried that my feelings will be hurt, don't be. First I have thick skin and second, unless someone makes a personel attack, I will look at everything said as constructive criticism. Besides, if you are really worried about my feelings:big4: , there are close to 1000 smilies to make sure I know how you meant it:smileyco: :BIG:

Ok flame off \\/

BTW, when I just tried to save this post, the system complained that I had too many smilies. So I just upped the limit:2gunfire: ](*,) {|= :sleepy4: [-( :computer: :slap :greenjum: So there
