Chat Feature Back

A new Chat capability has been added that is more consistant with the look and feel of vBulletin. On the Nav Bar above, you'll the link for vBChat. Please feel free to come in and look around. And even more important is for you to provide feedback in this thread of what you think.

It appears that early this evening , people were trying to hook up in the chat room. It didn't work. I figure we some sort of protocol that will help us coordinate. One I am sure of, is that at the bottom of the Forum home thiere is a box that shows who is in the rooms. I need to find a way to make that display more easily found and on many more pages.

What other sites do sometimes is set standard times when people should go to chat rooms.

If you look at the top left side of most pages, you will now see a box who shows who is in the Chat Room. This may help with telephone tag.

Another way to tell someone that you want to chat is the PM. There is an option in profile that you can set, that will cause a window to pop up on you screen if PM arrives while you are online. I suggest that set that option, it is quite useful for impromptu interactions.
