Hey Folks,

I "impulsively" bought an old Walker Turner bench top lathe off of EBAY a few weeks back, and I really need to get it out of the sellers garage in Huntersville. I was actually on business in the Matthews/ Ballantyne area on Friday, and I had intended to pick it up then, but one of my meetings ran late, and nothing about me wanted to make the run from Ballantyne to Huntersville at 5:15 on a Friday - in the rain.

That being said, If anyone from the Huntersville area is heading towards the Sanford/ Raleigh areas in the near future, excellent, but also, if anyone from the area wouldn't mind holding onto the lathe at their place for a couple of weeks until I can arrange to get back out that way, I would greatly appreciate that as well.

The lathe is approx 36" long and comes w/ a motor, but no stand or tooling. Looking online, I see that the Walker Turner 1955 tool catalog lists the lathe as weighing in around 50# so there will be no heavy lifting required.

If anyone can help out, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks alot.
