I need to get a Jet Xacta fence system and rails from Wayne (redhawknc1) in Morganton, NC to me in Washington, NC.

Morganton is on Interstate 40 about 20 miles or so west of Hickory. I frequently go up to the Chapel Hill area, so if I could get them as far east as the RDU area, it would work out great.

Anyone going east through Morganton in the near future?

Thanks,
Jay

I travel back and forth intermittently -- our daughter and grandson live there -- I'd estimate once every 4-6 weeks, but it might be longer. It looks like mid-July at the earliest.

Bump to the top.

Anyone going Morganton to locations further east?

Re: PE: Morganton to Washington

I will be driving from Morganton to Charleston, SC to take some wedding stuff to my daughters house. Probably will leave by next Monday and stay for around 1 week. Anybody on that route that we can move the fence, rails, etc. closer east?

Re: PE: Morganton to Washington

Wayne,

I assume you will be going down near Charlotte and then along I77 towards Columbia?
Just trying to clarify who might be along your route.

Thanks,
Jay

  • Turn Right to take ramp onto I-85 N toward CHARLOTTE

  • Continue on I-485 E
  • Take exit #67/COLUMBIA (I-85)/CHARLOTTE onto I-77 S toward COLUMBIA
  • Take the CHARLESTON Left exit onto I-26 E

Anyone in Gastonia or the west side of Charlotte along Wayne's route that will be coming out east?

Thanks,
Jay

I think Wayne's planning to leave in the [Monday] morning. Anyone along his route?

Jay, I'll be going through Morganton on Wednesday and traveling to Chapel Hill if you haven't made better arrangements.

Jerry,

Thanks for the offer. I suspect that Wayne has already left town for the week.

Re: PE: Morganton to Washington

Let's see:

14" bandsaw, sounds interesting

Could be a nice RAS, if it's an older model 100 Craftsman

This one, I'm not so sure about. Unless you are smurf-sized
