I need to get a Jet Xacta fence system and rails from Wayne (redhawknc1) in Morganton, NC to me in Washington, NC.

Morganton is on Interstate 40 about 20 miles or so west of Hickory. I frequently go up to the Chapel Hill area, so if I could get them as far east as the RDU area, it would work out great.

Anyone going east through Morganton in the near future?

Thanks,
Jay

Re: PE: Morganton to Washington

I'd be willing to pick them up from Wayne in Morganton and transport them to Apex on June 13th when I come down for the Board of Director's Meeting. We are meeting at Steve Coles home on Sunday the 14th. Unfortunately, there are no Board members from the eastern part of the state (DaveO lives in Clayton). But Steve lives close to US 64 if that helps.

I am not far from Steve's and I am right near the I-40 US-1 intersection. I can store it at my house.

McRabbet,

Thanks for your offer. Wayne leaves town this Friday for an 8 day trip. 8 days from Friday is June 13. I'm not sure if the timing would work out since he may be traveling that day as well. I'll send a PM to see if this scenario is feasible.

I really appreciate the effort.

Scott,
Thanks. Now I know where you live and it would be easy to pick up. If the timing works out that would be great.

I know the wife and I have to go back to UNC on June 26. It's possible I might be up even before that.

Re: PE: Morganton to Washington

Any chance of getting it to someone else close and they can meet McRabbet? I know there isn't much time since I'm leaving this Friday morning.

Bump.

Wayne leaves tomorrow (6/13) and will not return until the 14th. Anyone going through Morganton today or early tomorrow?

Thanks,

Re: PE: Morganton to Washington

Thanks Mark.

McRabbet was going to pick it up on his way through on Saturday, but Wayne leaves town tomorrow and won't be back until the 14th. So I don't think the timing is going to work out on this short notice.

Maybe somebody from that part of the state will be coming east after the 14th.

Wayne,

I'm glad your trip went well. I'll bet there was some nice weather this time of year. And thanks for the bump for the PE request.

If someone can get this fence, rails, etc. from Morganton to the RDU area I'll be in business. Thanks a mucho.

Jay

Thanks,
