Just happen to notice this today since I've been eyeing the Delta mortiser for some time. In the past day or so retailers including Amazon have been increasing their prices on this item. I happen to see on one website mentioning that effective Oct 1, Delta is raising some prices. Since I saw this on the product description page for the mortiser plus the fact I have seen other retailers increasing prices on the mortiser, I figure that today is the last day to purchase at a relatively good price. So I ran it by the CFO and pressed the little button. It you look on amazon it's offered through another reseller (CPO) and they are only charging $10 shipping, so it comes to $259 total. The amazon direct price is $290 including shipping and I have seen some websites claim the retail price is $300 (I'm not sure if this will be the new price or not). So if your in the market for this machine and want to save at least a couple bucks, I suggest you check with your CFO and press the little button as well.
