This is basically going to be a thread that I will not post any replies to. I just am posting to get the general feeling of the members on why they love this site and spend valuable time here talking to others. I love this site because it has helped me in SOOOOOOOOO many ways, period!! This site has made me a better person, Hands Down!!! That is due to the friends that I have made here!

I "love" this site because of the friends that I have found through it and the feeling of camaraderie I feel from it. Plus the employment benefits are outstanding.

Made new friends, got lots of help, learned from others "tips and trichs" and found a GREAT lumber supplier.

What more can a site do?

I love this place for so many different things.

The people are so friendly, I love how most are willing to say hey I will pray for you or when we don't see someone for awhile someone notices and brings it up hey where is.....?

I have learned alot, I never knew I had Woodguy disease, most recent I have learned that I really (want) need to get a lathe.

I love the friendships - even with people I've never actually met, being geographically close enough to actually meet each other, the willingness to share, willingness to teach and be taught, the encouragement and support, the friendly tone of the group, the laughs (peach paint comes to mind), the shared hopes and prayers - I guess there's not much I don't like. Plus, I believe that this group has afforded me the opportunity to be a better person, and definitely a better woodworker.

Because I had the opportunity to meet you Tracy!!!

Been able to meet a lot of really neat, talented people that I can consider friends!

Been able to share experiences with others who can appreciate what is involved.

I can always count on a "pat-on-the-back" for my projects (sometimes I need some real critique)

Been able to enjoy the Charlotte Shop Crawl!

Been able to learn a LOT form the vast knowledge base we have!

I love this site because the people are wood- & tool nerds like me. I don't mind being weird on my own, but it's much more fun when people laugh at your jokes.
