For all of you that weren't on this morning, you missed another great deal by Tom Hintz. I was one of the first viewers to read the post, and I had a chance but didn't need it. I think the way Tom does it is great, by using different days and times each time he allows different groups a shot at the items.

Tom, in case nobody's told you this "You Rock", for bringing these things to the North Carolina Woodworker website.

That was a sweet deal ... and I almost jumped ... but someone else decided to save me $600!

Thanks Tom ... you being so close has its advantages!

I saw it early, I cogitated and I passed. Heck, I can't even use my 13" yet!

I'd like to take credit for being smart enough to move these sale around but the reality is that I never know for sure just when I will get done with something. I just got the final approval on the photos of the planer early this morning, posted it and poof! it's gone!
I can't believe nobody jumped on the weekend special I put on the 1220VS (hint-hint,, a few hours left...) I keep seeing everybody complaining about them not being available. this is a real live one all ready to go.

A big truck is coming this week, stay tuned for some big stuff!

yup, I keep staring at that lathe, and staring at that lathe. Then LOML reminds me that the children have grown fond of this thing called food. Strange.

Congrats on the planer!

Honestly Honey, that will cost around $100 $150 $200, and I need a few more tools.

Now you know why I'm requesting wallet and shop expanders! Tom told me about that truck last week when I picked up my Jet OSS. Been drooling over a 20" disc sander since the 1980's. I used one in Asheville in my buddy's shop who used to own a pattern making shop in Atlanta. His was an older 3 phase model that would spin for a 1/2 hour after you shut it off and you could shave the fuzz off of a flea's knee if you wanted to.

Guess we know who wants the disc sander! GO GET IT!

I stopped by Tom's today and saw the "toys" firsthand ... and I'm still drooling -- if only the money tree grew faster! I've plucked all the leaves I could!
