Gas went from 3.63 at Murphy yesterday to 3.76 today! And, they don't even kiss us!

Yadkinville gas went from $3.49 to $3.65/gal yesterday. Luckily, I drive 14 miles round-trip to work. That, and a 40 mi/gal motorcycle make it a less bitter reality.

Well, the good news is that although it's $3.60+, it was only a few months ago that I was paying $4. $2/gal gas is a thing of the past in my opinion.

I'm just saying that a 40 cent increase would get lots of people talking and press, but a 40 cent decrease seems to get zero discussion. It's human nature I guess.

I guess the good news is that you're not paying $4.09!

Weather Underground is a good site. I have had a link to it on my computer homepage for years.

As a sailor, I really like the new "Wundermap" feature which takes you to a satellite pic of your selected area that contains wind symbol links to a network of home weather stations. I can finally get realtime winds along the Pamlico River from a couple of sites near where I sail. These sites have historical data so I can see what the actual wind speed was when I get home after sailing.
