Actually deer can easily jump over a fence that high. This fence system works because they have very poor depth perception. They can jump it, but they aren't sure exactly how high it is and don't try. The fact that you say you've never seen one is a compliment to a deer fencer. It is supposed to be an almost invisible system. That helps with the deer's perception, or lack of it and doesn't detract from the properties that we install them at. Most of the deer fence installation that I've done are either in Chapel Hill around the area of I-40 and Hwy 86, Jordan Lake area (New Hill, Pittsboro) or North Raleigh. Basically places where people have bought wooded properties for the view and solitude, and the popularity of those areas have increased dramatically causing greater development and loss of habitat for the deer.

Honestly Honey, that will cost around $100 $150 $200, and I need a few more tools.

I've plucked a couple ticks off one of the beagles in the last couple weeks, they wuz ded though because of the medication. None detected on me yet, although theres "uncharted territory" that can't be fully and accurately accounted for......

Bought a pair of 'tick tweezers" at a gun show a couple years ago. They're about 6" long with "scallops" on the ends, the things work GREAT!

I've been carrying the .22 for a couple weeks now because of working around a bunch of old pallets and other JUNK, but, gratefully, no snakes of any type. I can't hardly tell one from the other anyways.......
